ProFabrica retains the services of the world leader in quality control, SGS Société Générale de Surveillance SA (SGS).

Fashionable products are no longer sufficient to ensure business success.  Quality, performance and regulatory compliance are as crucial.  SGS tests all yarn and fabric. Laboratory testing covers intrinsic product safety and performance criteria including performance testing.  This service is designed to benchmark our product and set higher standards in quality. ProFabrica inspects all fabrics for any imperfections created during weaving as well as colour differences, texture, warp and weft errors and cloth weight.   ProFabrica’s quality control system included four independent visual inspections and reports. The first of these is carried out at the mill prior to despatch to our warehouse.  The second inspection takes place as the fabrics are delivered to the warehouse; each roll of fabric is moved from one roll to another and inspected as the fabric passes over an illuminated inspection table . The third inspection is carried out when measuring the fabric prior to cutting.  Finally the fabrics are again inspected prior to packing and despatch by courier to our clients.
