Cashmere

ProFabrica Cashmere is exclusively made in Europe by the very best in the field of cashmere manufacture, using the best machinery for the best outcome and production of a fabric. The Kashmir fibres which have to be under 18.5 micrometers in diameter and at least 3.175 centimetres in length to qualify as true Kashmir are taken from the goat in spring of each year during the moulting season. The yarn is sent to our mill in Italy who produces cashmere of the very highest quality, softness and refinement. ProFabrica cashmere is all “watermarked” this is a term used for fabric of the highest quality that reflects light differently giving a ripple effect to the cloth. ProFabrica has about 30 colours but only one quality of this splendid fabric.
